ChatGPT & Claude Versus VisionCraft for Computer Vision!

I ran a thorough experiment on how various LLMs compared to VisionCraft AI in terms of how it affected productivity in Computer Vision.

And the results were day and night!

But of course, to level the playing field I disabled the LLMs access to the internet for all models, since in most AI coding IDE’s and extensions like Cline, Cursor, and Windsurf, these modes don’t yet have access to the internet.

And even if they do, I found that they dont search for the right solution to my problems.

The Test

We put ChatGPT o3-mini, Claude 3.5 sonnet, and VisionCraft AI to the test with a series of questions about the cutting-edge object detection model, YOLOv12. We wanted to see how well they handled requests for up-to-date, accurate, and usable code.

Here is an example for o3-mini with state-of-the-art reasoning. I’ve taken a screenshot of the response.

As you can see from the image above it just gives you a genic answer based on its trained data on YOLO stating the YOLOv12 does not exist.

Here is an example from Claude 3.5 Sonnet-latest, which I’ve enjoyed using for my coding needs, more so than DeepSeek R1.

You can see the same pattern again, but at least Claude is transparent about it not knowing about it.

Let’s test out VisionCraft AI.

As you can see VisionCraft AI provides accurate results for YOLOv12 even if the model itself does not have access to the internet, thanks to our RAVEN engine.

We tried this out even for code generation, and we came to the same conclusion.
